Medical Update

Wednesday's doctor report: Labs showed I probably have fatty liver disease and my bilirubin levels are still on the rise. Hepatitis panel was clean. Doctor doesn't have a clue as to why the bilirubin levels are rising. He is going to recheck tests in two weeks.

Hopefields sent me a link to a site concerning high bilirubin levels and diabetes. I need to check it out. Thanks Kelli.

Does it hurt, or you just feel blah all the time, or can you tell? I googled it and the article said patients are often asymptomatic. Now high bilirubin - does that mean you're going to turn yellow? Hope that's a good color for your skin tone. Sending good wishes your way and hope whatever it is goes away and you feel great.

I'm mostly just tired although I often have really loose bowels and stomach pain. I'm tired of being tired. Hopefully, I don't turn yellow.
