  Lots of Gays Here

Seems to be "lots" of gays on Greasy. I'm cool with it, have no problem. Personally, I find them hurting nobody.

I think many of them, think I am against them. No, I am not. Biblically (I studied the Bible many years) I can see why so many religious are against them. I know scripture well. Yet I also know, in most all instances where it mentions "homosexuals" it tends to be a situation where a "guy was raping" or something. This would be a big subject to explain.

As a "Christian myself" (although an un-conventional one). I know God "removed the law" from me. Alot to this too, but it means I am free to "follow my heart" on right and wrong. God lays his thoughts on me, and I follow (or try to) what I believe alright or not.

Morally, I cannot say 100% if God is against gays. I can say, he is for "freedom and love". I consider myself "neutral" on the Gay subject. I think that's up to God to guide their own hearts.

Jesus personally gave me "freedom" from the law. Not just me, every Christian. It's all scriptual really. So with that, I find nothing against the "gays". I probably support their freedom (and equal) rights as much (or more) as anyone.

Not the lifestyle for me. I couldn't be with a man. But neither can I say that it's wrong if someone else wants too. God gave me the "freedom" of beliefs, and from what I can see.. Most gays are hurting nobody.

From a Biblical perspective, it's very clear God wanted "man and woman" to be together, to make kids and fill the earth. Earth is pretty full now.. lol.

King David.. the one God said was after his own heart. He had 1000 wives. He loved them all. And God "Loved David". He was a righteous man.

Part of the point is. And so many miss alot. When you really study the Bible.. different things were said for different reasons. Different time periods too.

Again, I do not know, if God supports Gay marriage. I can't say that. What I do know and feel is this. God has "took the law" from me, and I can decide what I feel is right and wrong. He puts that chit on your conscience. My conscience tells me.. "Gays should have 100% equal rights"! Every way shape and form. If your "gay" and think I am against you. Your wrong. I am a "great supporter" for you.

I'm not the type to say things to the "gays here", just cause they would like me better. I am not that way at all.. I am actually way too "direct for my own good". I'll say my opinions to most anyone really. If I find myself in a group of people against ya, I'll say what I think. My nature is "very direct", I just know over time it works best. Even if I take an "ass kicking or two"... lol.

To condense this. I never said I either "agree or disagree" with the lifestyle. I have however said, I "support your rights" 100%. My heart tells me, "No matter right you should be treated equal 100%". I will always support that..

Gary :)

Some of us practice religions other than, and in some cases, older than, Christianity.
We don't much give a rat's ass what other people believe, as long as they don't expect us to share in their faith system.
To each their own.

I'm pretty "well" versed in "Religion", computers and alot of other subjects. I never tell anyone "what to believe", nor do I try to change anyone. I just call things as I "see them".

I think gays should have equal rights. Sadly our society sucks balls. Think back 50 years ago when a black man was hung for even looking at a white woman. Now there's over half of all married couples that are interracial. It took a long time for that to be accepted. I'm sorry to say that it will take that long for gays and lesbians. They are more common than 50 years ago(at least out of the closet common.) Sadly 50 years ago gays were sent to mental hospitals for quack doctors to "cure" them. There is no cure for who you are. I'm hetero and proud and don't want a nut job doc to give me drugs and electro-shock therapy to try to make me gay. The same should go for gays. They need equal rights. Two friends of mine(gay friends) own a home and a business together. If one dies, the others' family can make life difficult with lawyers and all that because there's no contract of marriage to control that. Equal rights for everyone. That's what our constitution says.
