Excuse me everyone...yes, please, pardon moi,

I need to interrupt what you're doing ce soir.

'Cause today was a special day for our friend, Marta!



We should have cheese, crackers, maybe pate',

We can have all kinds of nibblers to start and, hey!

We'll wash it all down with soda, wine, and latte'.



There'll be a feast, from chicken to steak,

But, be sure to save some room, for Petey's sake,

Because there'll be ice cream and, surely, a cake!



So, why all this fun, joy, and delight?

That's right, folks, you all guessed right,

It was Marta's birthday today and into tonight!



So, Marta, there's no need to wait,

To say this to you because you're so great...
