Good afternoon,and welcome to hump day.
We all know that the cost of food has gone way high.
Surely,that the seniors are having a hard time.
What to do,spend on my medicine and give up on my food?
More tend to do the later.
Well,you are wondering where this story is going.
This morning,while food shopping at one of the local market.
This is not the first time that it happened and seen this
many times over.
Notice the increased on seniors shoplifting.
Mind you,not big but small.
This one man was taking a couple of candy bars and putting
in his pocket.He saw me and just kept on.
Now the question here,what would you do?
Not sure how many candy bars that he took,but the sad part
as I looked at the man,is he having a wholesome meal?
I did not say any thing to the manager and would not.
Why?well I am not sure.
First,should have approach the person and offer to pay for
what he took.But think that would probably insult him.
I have seen this over and over again.
Many older seniors are shoplifting for food etc.
Not sure if any one ever get caught,for have not read or
heard about anything.
This upset me some,why is this happening?
Well,lets hope that Obama or Hillary do something to help
out these people.
The question:? what would you have done.

you may be right on that one.These people do need a lot of
help,think that this is geared mostly to homeless people.

yes,you are right Martin.Should have said something to the
person,will do the next time.I remember his face.A sad one
that it was.Maybe that what I felt so bad for him.

I've not seen this kind of thing, but am particularly unobservant. I probably would have quickly tucked a few dollars into his/her pocket and left. I think that some elderly people are having a tough time with buying food in recent times. Prices are sky-rocketing.

Fredo, it wouldn't be an offer.. I'd just do it and leave before they knew what was happening. Hard being in their shoes...

well,this a good idea,but do you think that they will accept
this offer?I am sure that they want to be proud and not do.
I am going to make an effort to talk with them,and see what
kind of feed back that I get.

well,not sure if he is or not.
Very hard to tell as he was sort of overly bundle up.
Maybe a homeless,not sure.Think that the next time,maybe speak with
him.

Yes,you are so right on this.Next time,will do this.
The biggest problem what happened if they start yelling or
something in that matter.This could be embrassing for me.
Think that the next time,notify someone and keep any eye on that person
