What is a Blog?
An online diary, a personal chronological log of thoughts published on the web.

What do I blog about?
Whatever you want. Blog about what you have done, what you are going to do or what you are thinking about doing. Blog about your dreams or your desires. There are no rules to blogging and there are no restrictions. A blog at greasy is your chance to grab your 15 minutes of fame - so, as we say at greasy, Blog Big!

How do I get started?
The easiest way to get started is to say hello to your audience, tell them about you and what you are thinking. A blog doesn't have to be any particular length or have any particular topic it just has to be from you. The first post in a blog is the most difficult so we suggest the following three points:

Introduce yourself - you name isn't important but "who you are" is.
What is your Blog about - "My Blog is about my life as a married mother of two"
Blog about your topic - a 3-5 sentence paragraph is perfect for the first post.

What does Blog Big mean?

I have Bloggers Block?
So you can't think what to write about ... here is the solution. Write down 3 things:

What did you do for dinner last night?
What news event in the last 24 hours comes to mind first?
What will you be doing tomorrow at this time?

Now you have three topics. This is the easy part, select the topic that came to you the fastest of those three and Blog about that. Now you have overcome Bloggers Block.

How do I get more readers to my blog?
Blog, Blog and Blog more. With more blogs you get more listings on recent posts and you are listed higher in Channels. So more the more posts the better but be interesting ... and funny always helps.

Next, complete your profile. Hobbies, interested and a short note about you. It helps on internal searches and external. Remember, greasy get "scanned" by search engines so your blog will be in search engines.

2. Post frequently (especially at first)
3. Submit your site to blog submission sites: DayPop, Blogarama, Blogwise, or BlogSearchEngine
4. Use Invite a Friend to tell everyone about your blog
5. Use Buddy Blogs with other greasys
6. Comment on other blogs
