Feels like Ages Since I Posted Anything

Between nursing sick kids and juggling avon and soup making I just don't seem to have sat down in a week.

We took the kids to see The Clone Wars at the weekend. Our local cinema does a family movie show on a Saturday morning where all seats are £1. A family of 5 to the pictures for a fiver - crackin! Ok so the movie isn't the newest but what does it matter if you haven't seen it anyway? DH is taking the boys to see Kung Fu PAnda this week whilst F and I go into the town to collect my new glasses.

Did I tell you I was getting new glasses? 2 Pairs (BOGOF) one pair has funky black and white legs and the other has really cool green stripes on the legs - I can't wait. I may even manage to get a Starbucks coffee too - never manage when DH is there as he always has us at the other end of the town for music shops and I can never be arsed walking all the way back for a latte!!

In other news ..... we managed to survive a family meal with my crowd on Sunday. It was for my dad's birthday but I am always a little nervous about these gatherings as my mum and sisters form a right clique! It wasn't so bad. My youngest sister is so wrapped up in her new man that she doesn't have the interest in bitching and back stabbing me at the minute. My dad had to speak to everyone else (which was interesting) since that same sister's ex no longer comes out for family meals! When he used to, as far as my dad was concerned there was no-one else present!! Ok so the conversation would only be about ploughing, vintage tractors and ice road truckers dull stuff that nobody really gave a crap about anyhow!! LOL Good meal though.

Avon is going really well, I haven't totalled up properly for this campaign but it is very close to my best one yet! Just as well as I am looking to buy a tent for us to camp in the summer.

Gotta go my daughter is trying to help me type and my middle child is moaning...until the next time. x

I never understood why it was SO IMPORTANT to see a movie the first week that it comes out!!! I have young friends of mine who will go to a MIDNIGHT showing of new movie, fighting off gigantic hordes, just to say that they were among the first in the area to see the flick! I just don't get it. I'll wait a few weeks, or even a few years to see a movie I want to watch, and not lose sleep or fight with massive crowds!
By the way, I take it that "crackin" is a decidedly Great Britain-ish way of saying, "Fantastic", right?

Glad the family gathering went well! And enjoy your latte! I want to see pics of the glasses! They sound funky!
