About Me

I am a wife to one special man (DH), mother of one son (DS), two daughters (DD#1 and DD#2)and one kitty (a girl-Angel Who Isn't), grandmother of six grandsons and two granddaughters (refered to by age). I am a lover of all things cat. Knitting and spinning take up about 75% of my thoughts and actions during the day. If I didn’t have DH and Angel it would probably be more like 99%.

In January I thought I'd start a simple little project. A pair of slippers for my tootsies. I had small amounts of some very pretty yarn. My mother gave me the pattern years ago. I'm not sure where sh...
This is Mr Puss. He's a little bigger than Miss Puss, whose ears only come up to Mr Puss' eyes. Speaking of eyes, I found these in my vintage button jar. It's the buttons and not the jar that are vint...
No, I did not roast her in the oven for my dinner. I am expressing my approval on a little job I didn't think she would or could perform. Last night I brought the paper in late. It was already dark an...

I thought Angel might like a nice new bed to sleep in and maybe it will keep her off the chair in the livingroom. I started knitting this massive sack a couple of weeks ago. Feels like it weighs about...
Says who? I am so disappointed and frustrated right now. I haven't quite finished my new shawl but I tell it ain't gonna work. All that work I put into it was for nothing. I am so pussed off I could h...
