1 pair 4mm/6 US needles
1 darning needle

TENSION: 22 sts & 30 rows = 10cm/4 in on 4mm/6 US needles

Size: 79cm/ 31 in X 107cm/ 42 in

Directions:

Cast on 222 stitches.

Bottom Border
Row 1: (K2, p2) repeat to end of row.
Row 2: (P2, k2) repeat to end of row.
Row 3: (P2, k2) repeat to end of row.
Row 4: (K2, p2) repeat to end of row.
Work rows 1 to 4 14 times

Centre Section
*Work the first 42 and last 42 stitches for side borders.*
Stocking stitch the 138 sts between borders for 12 rows, increasing 1 stitch on the last row.
Row 1: K14, (yo,sl1, k2tog, psso, yo, k9) repeat 8 more times, yo, sl1, k2tog, psso, yo, k14.
Row 2 and all even rows: Purl.
Row 3: K12, (k2tog, yo, k3, yo, sl1, k1, psso, k5) repeat 8 more times, k2tog, yo, k3, yo, sl1, k1, psso, k12.
