I knit this little outfit for my grandchild-yet-to-be if he's a boy. I'm working on a fuzzy pink one for if she's a girl. Only six or seven weeks to go before we find out.
Although my mother taught me to knit when I was eleven, these knee socks were the first knitting project I ever completed. I knit them in white baby yarn, when I was twelve years old, for Baby Sister.

It's so beautiful and you're so talented to be able to create these things. My mom loved to knit and crochet and made so many different things. She made my son a blanket when he was much younger with his initials, "CJ" on it. He still has that blanket....I miss her.
Beautiful set. You almost make me want to pick up my needles and get to work. nena h
My mom taught me some needle skills too, but the skills part didn't take. Later on a girlfriend helped me through a sweater and it came out fine but now I've forgotten everything I did.
