This is one of those movies I keep meaning to see, but never get around to it. I should grab it off the shelf here at work.

saw this a while back.Good movie.

What struck me the most was how self-conscious and uptight Bree was about her body when seen in her underwear by her son. That really brought home to me what was going on: he really felt he was a woman, not just a guy in drag who could switch to a man's mentality by getting undressed. It seems like I usually see transvestites depicted in movies as flamboyant and defiant - here I am honey, like me or not - but this seemed like the more realistic side with all the pain and determination to do what had to be done in order to resolve the gender issues.
