Last weekend we went out of town to the Big Bear area (Murphys / Arnold) for an "annual" snow cabin trip. We didn't go last year. As it was, we went late and arrived Sat afternoon. Dolly and Kitty went looking for snow for sledding, etc. I stayed at the house and caught up on some reading and talked with the others that had stayed behind too. It was snowing outside Sun morning. That's something don't see very often, so I found the camera and took a few shots.

Dolly and I went for a walk in the snow down this road. The flakes were big and wet because it wasn't that cold.

Kitty stayed behind and decorated the small snowman I made on the deck bench and lounged in the (outdoor) hot tub while we were gone.

Later the two of them went for a walk in the woods with another family. I didn't bring snow gear because I wasn't planning on skiing or sledding and didn't think about walking in the snowy woodlands.
